Join our Future Stars Spring League to develop your skills and get game-situation practice throughout the Spring. This is a great opportunity for athletes who were not selected to a club team, could not play due to scheduling conflicts or who are new to the game. This is open for girls in grades 5-10.
Program Format
Maximum 35 participants per age group. The league runs much like a train and play, coached by experienced Stars coaches and assisted by 16U-18U players. The first hour is devoted to skill development. Coaches organize a different skill to focus on and build on each week. The last part of the session is playing in various formats. Players are put onto different teams every week.

Beginners
The beginner session will be coached by our past-President and experienced coach, Sandy Hancock. Beginner players may have never played before or have only played 1-2 seasons. Sandy will go over passing, setting, overhand serving, hitting and blocking while introducing competitive game play and strategies.
Saturdays 9:00-10:45am @ Sutherland Big Gym

Intermediate/Advanced
The intermediate/advanced session will be coached by Alisa Smigoc. Intermediate/advanced players are looking to take their already well-rounded skills to the next level and learn more advanced strategies like positional skills, quicker sets, digging hard hits, learning a 5-1 and/or 6-2 system, overhand/jump serving, etc. Players registering in this session should have played competitively before in either high school or club settings.
