U14 Stars Sparkle at Provincials!

What an amazing weekend for U14 Stars Eclipse at Provincials!   We entered the tournament ranked 6th in our Division, and we ended up convincingly winning our final playoff game to finish 5th.  All our losses against the top teams were very close, and importantly, every player played some great volleyball - and we all had a lot of fun!

Here are some player highlights:

Ariel – Fantastic job setting and serving,  but also stepping up to play power – great passes and hits, and stellar 6 back defence!

Gianna – What a tourney for you – beautiful high sets, outstanding serving, incredible hustle to get to second ball, and ‘never say die’ defence!

Marian – Fantastic positive leadership and determination on and off the court, great serving and beautiful high sets!

Neveah – Great job on giving us brilliant high sets, amazing defence, and great serves!  You are a fighter!

Pia – Your focus, stellar energy, competitiveness and leadership really helped the team – plus beautiful high sets and solid serving!

Avery – We missed you on Saturday and Sunday – but great to have you back Monday – brilliant net play and great serving!

Gabby – Fantastic serving , brilliant hits, killer blocking, and great improvement in back row play!

Natalie – Amazing serves, smart corner hits, and outstanding positive leadership on and off the court!

Nika – Stellar serving, great passing and fantastic play at the net!

Parya – Way to bring your best volleyball to Provincials:  serving, hitting to corners, blocking, and defence!

Baran – Excellent job at calm and killer strong serving and hitting, as well as great serve receive!

Charlotte - Great serving, huge power hits, and amazing energy on the court!

Hailey – Fantastic reliable serve receive, great hits, and way to help your teammates on shanked balls in the back row!

Norah - We missed you!!

Renata – Fantastic serving and passing, and brilliant smart hitting, as well as determination and leadership on the court!
