We encourage all players to bring a non-perishable food donation to The Harvest Project
A selection committee of 5-7 Stars coaches will evaluate players based on skills, ability to work in a team, effort and attitude. Team decisions will be made 1-3 days after the last tryout; selected players will be called or emailed by the head coach.
**Note: When registering, please fill out the player's first and last name, not the parent's - This is required for the tryout evaluation forms.
Please make sure you are aware of the player expectations, Volleyball BC’s tentative schedule, and club fees before tryouts.
*Note : We have done our best to schedule our tryouts around other North Shore clubs tryouts. There are minor overlaps and we are aware that some players may need to arrive late or leave early at times. This is no problem, just make sure the registration desk knows.
About the Signing Process
Stars made the design to not offer any presigned spots this season, every spot on our teams will be up for grabs at tryouts. The head coach may start making offers as early as the first tryout and as late as 5 days after the last tryout. Players will be contacted by phone or email only if they are being offered a spot on the team.
Any club (Stars, BCO, Power West, etc) can make an offer before the Signing Date for that age group, however players do not need to respond until 6:00pm PST on the Signing Date, when the offer expires. Players cannot be pressured to accept an offer. Offers made after 6:00pm on the Signing Date cannot be rescinded for a minimum of 24 hours.
Players are considered to have accepted an offer upon signing the VBC Club Athlete Offer Letter or by paying a portion of their club fees.
The Signing Date for 15U is November 30, 2026
